Here we go!
We haven’t left yet, but the first blog post is long overdue. Like…several years overdue. Stupid Covid.
Many cancelled trips, unfulfilled dreams. Lotsa making up to do.
Although the focus of this adventure is centred around the Ryder Cup Golf in Rome, it is also the perfect opportunity for a nostalgic visit home to Poland. The last one was many moons ago (2007..?) so this one is long overdue. I will do my best to protect Jake from receiving lethal doses of Polish vodka. He will survive this one, I promise!
A special someone will join in for the second half of our trip. She is already over there, having the best time with her friends by the sounds of it. They’re in Turkey as I write this.
I farewelled her two weeks ago. Time flies!
